What negative things Roger Ebert and other so called "critics" say means nothing. Everyone knows this film as "The one without Michael Myers", and I think that's a GOOD thing. After Halloween 2, the entire Myers series may has well never been made. (Part 2 wasn't even that good) Halloween 3 was everything you wanted from a true Halloween film. Amazing visual effects, a GREAT story line, an epic soundtrack and the villain, Cochran, is one of the most evil and maniacal of any thriller/horror movie. Halloween 3 is a true Halloween film based around the season and has since become a cult classic. If it had been called Season of the Witch and not affiliated itself with the Halloween series I believe it would have been better accepted during it's release. Watch it for yourself and judge it as it's own film. It is truly enjoyable ,with all of the quirks from an 80s thriller film, and more
