A great drama mystery movie about female empowerment, family healing. Most of all showing the truth prevails over vendetta of hate. Kathy Bates as usual proves she is probably the best actress of my life. She brings us right into her world. I highly recommend this film.

A wonderful look into how lonely growing up GLBTQ can be. Showing a huge desire for nothing more than love and acceptance by all. I highly recommend this for young GLBTQ people.

One of the most believable shows I have watched. At times I have wished it would be made again now. The cast was awesome and the costumes for the period fit well.

A great film in 1983 and still is today. Bowie at his best. He was an actor at heart. A film both men and women can enjoy. This was based on a fictionalized memoir by Laurens van der Post (1906-1996), a South African officer in the British Army during WW2. Captured and placed in a Japanese prison camp, he tried to detach from his treatment and reverted to his training as a psychologist. It does a good job show the horror of war and being captured. Well acted all around and a good soundtrack,
