Even though I personally do not like Epic Games as a publisher i do actually think this game has some potential to become more than just a Monster Hunter clone. One problem that i think should be a priority to fix is the frame rate seemingly always being at around 15-30fps instead of 60 and i know it isn’t just my console as mine is very new and can run other games such as Ark Survival Evolved at 60fps with no problems. Another thing i would like to see is an improvement of graphics although they are currently good and I understand there is an attempted style, i personally think that most of the models look bland and plastic like (at this point I'm just nitpicking). Also i am aware that the game just came out for consoles so there are bound to be problems just like all new releases so don’t think I’m asking for everything to be perfect right off the bat for a console player like me. If i were to rate Dauntless from my limited time playing it it’d have to be 7/10 as i do think the game is genuinely fun id recommend playing Monster Hunter World instead but if you cant afford it, Dauntless is a really good replacement.
