Better than your average soap. Characters are more subtle than usual. A nice ideal but don't forget real life isn't like this.

Loved it. Every hard echoing space was authentic as I remember 1960's Paris and Italy, And all those stairs and steps going up and down reminded me of the weighing of souls or the circles of hell. As well as how exhausting it is to be and remain evil. This was accented by the black and white photography which disallowed any beauty in the landscape. The cat deserves special merit .😸
