I have a lot to say about this: First off- I’ve seen all Spider-Man stuff; and I’m generally a fan. I’m also a fan of good movies, and I know what those look like. So based on a few things, there are some good and bad that should be talked about. The Good: the incredible animation art, the boundary-pushing style, the music, and talented voice actors/actresses. The Bad: the unfocused and childlike dialogue when adults are included, the inconsistent tone, flat jokes, nonsense character and villain motivations, nonsense plot, unnecessary politics, disrespect to classic iterations of the character (making them all seem particularly stupid and useless), and the ending. Overall, it was fun, but painfully unserious at times and often times makes you wonder why most characters seem to not know how to communicate effectively with others.
