Only about halfway through the first series. Twenty odd episodes to reach some kind of resolution feels tiring to me, especially as there is very little feel good reward amidst the tension. That was the joy of West Wing, which this tries to copy, with lots of conversations while walking down corridors.
But the acting is understated and good, apart from the mumbling. The action is thrilling although the main protagonists always survive against some improbable odds. Good to see African American actors in some major roles, but the producers have forgotten that America twice had an African American First Family. A lot of the White actors look very similar - in age, build, lack of facial hair, accent, absence of any disabilities…
