Ancient “Ta” Lioness

Reading the reviews about how the movie doesnt make sense to those who will never get it anyhow is quite the chilling irony of the spirit in which this movie was written. Yet, no matter how a writer spells it out it will never be legible, painted and they will never get the picture. Racism is a ghost. It is depicted as if it is from the past and even if it IS from the past it will always be the ghost that haunts black people. Know what else, all across the country these institutions claimed to set a seat for diversity at the table and you know what happened!? #metoo turned into a white woman speaking for us in the name of diversity. It never goes and will never go anywhere. It's like those that do it are oblivious. We are in the freaggin twilight zone. Microagressions, etc and the people that use them will still never even understand they are using them and the impact they have. We will always be used as their prop to show face and try to save face....anddd it is e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e! Always over our shoulders, at the party, in the room with us, in the shadows of every American institution and it just reincarnates and is immortalized through the retelling of "our" history. Racism is the ghost...it is the witch and much like Jasmine once she understood, we [damn near] kill ourselves trying to get away from it!
