Movies got a good premise. Ultimately it is pretty dumb. I do have to say though, certain reviewers are clearly idiots, cough*Ray*cough.**spoilers ahead** In my head, from the second she sees the guy, I was chanting, "don't sleep with your cousin". And every interaction after had the same chant. Regardless, teens are dumb. Especially angsty teens who have never met eachother and find themselves forcibly together. There's your "reasons". Anyways this reviewer is also surprised by rain. Which is stupid because an explosion of that caliber would likely have widely ranging affects on the atmosphere. It's not that hard to grasp. Further, they're mad about the eldest keeping the siblings at the family home because fallout. That would make sense, if the movie wasn't set in Scotland and the fallout being limited to no further than..BRISTOL! Wouldn't have dead/dying people or animals in an area so far from the radiologically affected area. They could definitely see the ash though. Then they get mad about the consulat only trying to save good ol Bethy. News flash, U.S, or any nation for that matter, will never expend resources it deems unnecessary. Kids not from your country? Deemed unnecessary. Not a hard concept to grasp, yet again. Guy knows he's not gunna tryn save them, so offers the pitiful, "your countries coming" excuse. Quite frankly, it is exactly an angsty teen romance, and 100 percent fits the bill. Nothing about it is so far off that I would say it's bad in that regard, there are "reasons" aplenty if you look at it objectively. Certain people just can't get out of their own bubble and recognize they really don't get the world all that well, it seems. If you want a teen love story, even if a little grimy, you got it here...Don't listen to idiots. Still, 2 stars for cousin lovin.
