I really enjoyed Lady Bird because it dives deep into the emotions of a teenager. This film beautifully captures that stage of life when you're transitioning into adulthood. Sometimes, you feel like you know everything and can handle all the responsibilities and challenges that come with adulthood. Yet, you're still so naive, finding joy in simple things like a lollipop.
The movie also poignantly portrays the struggles of growing up in a family with limited resources and trying to maintain a good relationship with a sometimes overbearing mother. Lady Bird touches on these common situations with a blend of comedy and emotional depth, highlighting that life isn't just black and white. Instead, it shows that we need to experience life's ups and downs to learn how to stand on our own feet.
