I went in blind based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and PG rating, I took my eleven year old daughter to see Wicked. We walked out at around the 45 minute mark, my daughter was “so so” about it and I really didn’t like this movie at all.

No Spoilers: This show isn’t awful, but it isn’t good. The pacing is off and they’re trying to hard to cram everything in. I just find the characters obvious and not very compelling and they’re presenting a mystery that has none in it. I’m not interested enough to watch episode 3.

The look and feel of a Star Wars after school special, this is the least cinematic offering from the SW universe. The plot holes don’t help this series either. It’s not awful by any means, on a scale of 1to 10 it rates a solid “meh”.

It’s just not good. Every measurable metric, cinematography, acting, plot, sets etc. all rank a solid “meh”. Is it the worst piece of garbage made? Hardly. But does it rise to the level of “good”? Nope. They took the abysmal Rise of Skywalker trilogy and lowered the bar even further. Too bad, I really wanted to like this

Why does Disney continue to make the Star Wars universe look like a high school theater production? Awful.
