first of all, for TTAdventures' fans: this is a full on hard reboot, with ZERO continuity to the original -otherwise it would be a revival (people mix those terms up sooo much is annoying)- so don't expect it. With THAT said... once you allow yourself to disconnect from it -like for example Buster and Babs been siblings is so inconsequential that I can't believe how much grudge people have with it- and think of it as another reality in the looniverse LOL, this new version is very endearing and charming! For once it's ACTUALLY making proper use of the Looniversity setting, something TTA abandoned very quick after season 1, it's also more focused -Buster, Babs, Hamton*, Plucky* and Sweetie* are the leads- and consistent with it's animation, and the character dynamics are a delight to see... it's doing it's own thing for a new generation, and is great! I love TTA and nothing can replace it, but that doesn't mean this new version can't be allowed to shine on its own right ^^ It's also important to notice how it's a very upbeat-positive show that embraces it's concept without any sign of cynicism, it makes you feel... good? and is not constantly reminding you how "bad" the original show was according to them -right, animaniacs "revival"???-. You can tell the people who worked on this enjoyed the original, honoring it through very subtle nods that you can catch if familiar with TTA ^^ *these characters are the most amazing to see, Sweetie was totally retooled into an actual character, Plucky is just on another awesome level LOL, and Hamton is very relatable... granted all characters are, you end caring for them ^^!
