'The New Legends of Monkey' This is an Australian series currently being aired on Netflix . This series starts with a fictional character called the "Monkey King" where a young monk and his group of disciples are set on a mystical journey to collect scrolls of Buddhist wisdom. Note: It is a show that can be enjoyed by families. Great comic timing and a good cast with some enjoyable performances. Good action scenes too.

'Call My Agent!'- Netflix ( FrenchSeries) At Paris talent firm, A.S.K, agents scramble to keep their star clients happy and their business afloat. How these agents juggle one situation to another in circumstances that blend their personal and professional lives. The Hindi version is on Netflix The British version is currently aired on Amazon Prime Note: I am a big fan of French cinema/Web series etc and this original series is brilliant. The other versions are more like 'old wine in a new bottle'.

A teacher seeks justice against a surgeon she claims assaulted her, while he denies her accounts of the encounter. There is the BBC version with a stellar cast while the Spanish one was released much later. My rating is 4/5 for both the series.

Brilliant drama on Netflix. This plot is about a 14 year old boy from Britain who enrolls into acting school who then is discovered by a casting director and gets catapulted in the world of fame a.k.a Hollywood Films. He sets off with just a chaperone who looks after him while his family is still in Britain. Why the family couldn't tag along with him is for the viewer to understand. Also once he finishes his movie, he confides to his parents of what really happened while filming abroad. Watch this BBC series to find out what lies ahead. My verdict: 5/5 Rating : 15 years and above

Seen this movie 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' 2 at Cineworld. It is a horror comedy by Anees Bazmi ji. This is a movie which allows character actors to have their moments, screen space. Plot: Kartik Aryan falls in love with Keira Advani and tries to win her heart by getting himself embroiled in comical/horror situations while she visits her haveli. Yes! ' Manjulika' still exists. But it's not old wine in a new bottle, mind you! In fact it's a new story with an old title. The sequel is different from the first. You have to watch this movie on the big screen to savour every moment of this rib tickling comedy. Pros: Brilliant acting by Kartik, Tabu ( truly versatile),Rajesh Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar and the immensely talented Rajpal Yadav ( Why the long hiatus Mr Yadav?) But boy is he back with a bang! Their impeccable comic timing adds flavour to this movie and makes it entertaining. Good FX too. Watch out for this cute condident boy ( actor- Samarth) Cons: a tad long wherein some scenes could have been edited. My rating : 4.8/5.

I remember watching this movie from the CBI franchisee with our fav ' Mammookka' alias ' Mamooty' ji. He hasn't aged one bit while the rest have aged with time. Sethurama Iyer is back with his team investigating the murder of a Minister which results in series of multiple murders which are somehow interlinked in some way or the other titled as the ' Basket Killings'. The movie is a tad long ,but it still has the same cast members. Interesting plot with good star cast. Only on Netflix. A must watch.👌

Just finished watching Season1 of 'Ms.Marvel'. Watched it my daughters and they loved this series. Its about a young South Asian teen 'Kamala' who inherits a 'bangle/kada' from her naani and gets into a series of adventures. It has an ensemble cast of familiar faces (Fawaad Khan/ Farhan Akhtar/Mohandas Kapur etc) . It features some melodious tracks like 'Pasoori' , 'Peeche Hut' ( courtesy- Coke Studio) and many more English/ Hindi/Urdu tracks. My rating is 5/5. Only on DISNEY PLUS channel.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo: Netflix - Legal South Korean Drama. Attorney Woo Young Woo is a gifted lawyer with Asperger's Syndrome. Blessed with a brilliant IQ and memory, she may have some quirks but she wins over her colleagues with her brilliant mind and her beautiful soul. Watch out for Kang Tae-Oh who is so charming and easy on the eye. This series touches a cord somewhere.

Masaba - Season 3. The title means 'Princess' in Swahili. Her latest self titled series is back with a bang, totally unapologetic and she is brilliant! The mother-daughter duo, Neena G and MG, portray the highs and the lows in their relationships ( work or personal) with a message that it's ok to have flaws and that its important to have courage and admit when you can't have it all. Their impeccable comic timing and acting personas ( reel or real) keeps you hooked to this show. Watch out for Rytasha R as she slays her character 'Gia' the BFF with her witty humour. Ram Kapoor is still charming. Lots of new faces and gr8 comic timing by the cast. Binge watch it! Note: Adult content.

Watched this fantastic movie with a talented supporting cast. Its a biopic on Ex Indian Cricket Team Captain for 23 years, Mithali Dorai Raj. Tapsee Pannu is brilliant in this film. Truly inspirational and my daughters loved it. Its currently aired on Netflix.
