I really hope Disney takes a hint from the success of this show. It truly brings depth to the Galactic Civil War era by showing what’s going on behind the scenes with well written and well acted tales of espionage and intrigue. There is a plethora of new likable and hate-able characters while tastefully using previous ones from Rogue One. It shows that each side of the conflict isn’t fully good or evil, and what they have to do to achieve their goals in acts of desperation. This is probably as close as we’ll get to anything Rated R Star Wars. It doesn’t create cute, silly characters or use recognizable figures in order to create fan service or marketability. The only complaint I have is that this show ended too early. I really wish they continued the sister storyline. In all, this show is the best thing to come out of Star Wars since Rogue One itself. It’s mature themes make it relatable and digestible for an adult audience and I don’t think there was one time I cringed due to cheesy lines or bad acting, which is way more than I can say for anything else Disney has put out for this IP.
