when my wife asked me to join her in a movie she was watching, i noticed it looked low-budget and reluctantly agreed to sit with her. my, was i surprised! very fun and thought-provoking, there was a wise use of limited funds, staging scenes to imply horrors instead of showing them, which actually added to the suspense.
big pluses: young actors both convincingy believable, the young lady a little better. camera work very creative and thought-out, plot and scipt pacing very smooth
small downsides: villians had too-perfect beards for being without power for monhs, one glowing light in the kitchen after the EMP fired, digitally blurred-out license plates and signs.
grab your popcorn and watch it! just remember it's not a big-money hollywood blockbuster and you'll have the right expectations.
