Ginger Bane

"One Day" is a beautiful and emotional modern romance. I've watched it three times, and each time, I fell more in love with Emma and Dex. Their chemistry is undeniable. I hadn't read the book and had forgotten about the movie with Anne Hathaway, so I had no preconceived ideas about the characters. I thought Ambika was perfect—refreshing, unique, and not the stereotypical leading lady. Leo was brilliant. My only critique is that I wanted it to last longer. I wished to see them get married and have a baby, and I had to imagine all the things that happened in between. This show is an emotional rollercoaster, so bring tissues because it's an ugly crying kind of binge-watch.
