I enjoyed the series and would recommend it. I look forward to Season 2. I loved the diversity of the cast, the costumes, and the sets. I personally would like to bed the main protagonaist, the Duke Rege-Jean Page, and can appreciate the display of passion and emotion in the series. My criticism of the series is that I think there should no nudity, no explicit portrayal of sex, and absolutely no cursing. Period drama fans love the idealic manner in which those characters comported themselves and we love to use our imagination around sexual intimacy. I have been known to curse like a sailor, so my statement is not based on some prudish standard, but simply a characterization of what I enjoy about Period dramas. Hopefully Shonda can make adjustments for Season 2, but even if she doesn't, I'm still a fan of the show, and I'll remain a Shonda Rhimes supporter.....Bingeworthy TV
