I gotta say, this movie is kinda the embodiment of mediocre. Sonic is just an awful character, and most the characters have one trait that is actually noticeable. The plot is the most average that I’ve ever seen, and there were a lot of missed opportunities. There were SO many plot holes, it made me like this movie way less, I couldn’t help myself from pointing them out, because me as an adult found them too big to possibly ignore. However, this movie is a great time waster for children, my little brother liked the movie, he was able to look past the plot holes, and the more then overused plot. All he saw was Sonic, so I say that if you’re looking for a movie to take a small child too, this is it. Most definitely. Also, I’m not diehard Sonic fan, however, if you are, DO NOT see this movie, there will be a few moments you like I’m sure, but even I was offended a bit with the way Sonic was portrayed, and the bs lore that they just threw in for plot convenience.
