I've never done time,I've never been in a prison, I once drove past one..and after this series I plan to keep it that way.
The series plodded along at a sombre pace, much like I would imagine actually serving ones sentence would, yet relentless in its power to raise empathy, disgust and deep questions. A cast who played their parts with thought, care and skill....I feel my time was well served.
