From the start of the movie that showcases Santo and Johnny's "Sleepwalk," to the dramatic, inevitable, heartbreaking, tear-jerking conclusion, La Bamba is my favorite movie of all time. I'm not saying it is THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE but it is easily my favorite movie of all time for me to watch. Every scene hits close to home. There are so many characters, dialogue, food, mannerisms, behaviors (and on and on) in this movie I can relate to that it's impossible for ME not to love. Ritchie Valens is one of my musical heroes. I love playing "We Belong Together" and, of course, "La Bamba." Ritchie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (alongside Queen, Aerosmith, and Micheal Jackson.) Seriously though, Best Movie EVER!!!!!!
