TAXPAYER FUNDED COMPANY DESTROYS CATS' SHELTER BOXES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PENNSYLVANIA WINTER!!

Tonight the colony cats at the FayPenn Industrial Park are freezing and hungry due to the actions of FayPenn development officials - Bob Shark and Earl Miller. Being the macho kind of guys that they are, they sent bulldozers to level the winter boxes and feeding stations which had been part of a colony cat project for over 10 years.
This was their post on Facebook. A really horrible situation.
After 10 years of feeding, spaying/neutering, vaccinating and rehoming cats from the FayPenn Industrial Park the caregivers were ordered by an officer at the Union Town State Police Barracks to stop caring for the cats or be arrested. Yes, those 60 and 70 year old ladies armed with food bowls and water are quite the threat to security! At no time did the caregivers ever receive anything in writing from either the police or FayPenn.
With just a few days notice to remove the winter boxes and the cats, the caregivers sent a certified letter to Bob Shark the executive officer at FayPenn to request a meeting. He did not reply. They (myself included) went to FayPenn to try to get a meeting with Mr Shark. Although we were able to catch him for a brief discussion on the stairwell, he lawyered up and said he was not allowed to talk to us.
I followed up with an e-mail this morning but also got no reply. The bulldozers were already rolling.
Today the cats are suffering. They are looking for their homes, their food and their families.
If this bothers you, and it should, please share this information with all your friends on Facebook. FayPenn gets government and private money to help small business development in Fayette County. Is it too much to ask for a non profit of this size and influence to show some compassion to the caregivers and the cats themselves? Bullying needs to stop. Colony caregivers across the state are providing services at their own cost that no one else provides. They deserve respect and protection. Our only hope of getting food and shelter back to these cats is your influence.
P.S. If you are an attorney reading this, we could sure use some help. #Libre Law, #Animal Cruelty
If you have time can you help out in this situation. A taxpayer funded company destroyed these cat's shelter boxes in the middle of winter. This colony has been taken care of by this animal orginization for over 10 years. Please these cats need your help. Thanks in advance!
Sincerely, Mara Swart
