Just watched the pilot. Beautifully done. I honestly had my doubts about the longevity of another TV show with constant musical numbers, but it is done flawlessly. The casts chemistry is perfect. It is so much more than fluff writing. The story takes you through a range of emotions similar to the roller coaster of life. They aren't afraid to write away from the obvious "happy ending" outcomes. I'm interested to see where they take the season and how they keep it moving after including so many ups and downs for Zoey in the series premiere.
