Shrishu Kamath

An excellent show which is pure dedication to music. The contestants are normal folks unlike the stories spurned in the Hindi Indian idols...the judges Ajay and Atul are class apart...they spare no one and call spade a spade....the comments are not caustic n to the the points...added to it are the wonderful stories they tell about their fellow musicians and singers....the co-judges change and each of them are so down to earth you feel why were they never seen on such singing reality shows but yes these are normal people who don't jump n shout....whether it is Anuradha Paudwal, Sadhana Sargam, Arti Titlekar, Uttara Kelkar, Sudesh Bhonsale each one of them was superb....no doubt they appear still grounded in their roots...the icing on cake are the musicians who are so professional and wise and they were honoured when Amar Haldipur the famous music arranger was the judge... the show worships music n comes across as true to its roots..Special mention about the two hosts Swananidi tiklekar and currently Prajakta mali ...both know how to arrange and keep the show bound by their words....Indeed a proper reality show that celebrates music after a long time....keep the standards high and donot stoop to the low levels of singing shows that hindi channels beam including indian idol hindi counterpart which is falling daily to low standards..Indian Music will be in safe hands if such shows are encouraged..
