Rainfire Animations

It made me feel things. I can see how other people might find it boring if it doesn't make them feel the things it made me feel.

This was my first dive into the slasher sub-genre of the horror genre, which had recently become my favorite movie genre. Annabelle Creation remains my favorite horror movie, but this one was a very close second. It makes fun of horror movies while being an icon of the genre, which is really cool. If you want a good slasher film, this is undeniably your best option.

I'm going to be honest, I don't understand why this movie gets all the hype it gets. There are lots of people who seem to really like it, but I am not one of them. I just thought that it had too much buildup, and that ruined most of the movie for me. If you like movies that are 90% buildup, then you would probably like the shining. But if films full of buildup are not something you enjoy, you might be better off without watching the shining.

Overall, I really liked this film. Unlike the second conjuring film, uncreatively titled "the conjuring 2" this one has a brilliant, creative title. The conjuring: the devil made me do it. The film itself is not quite as amazing as the title when compared to the previous films, however. Many new horror movies have been trying to take a franchise that's been around for a while, and take that franchise in a new direction while still keeping the heart of the franchise alive. The conjuring 3 does a good job at this... For the most part anyway. It doesn't quite capture the heart of the conjuring films, not perfectly. It's got the spleen and the kidney and the lungs of the conjuring films, but it only has a piece of the heart. It was still a great movie, it just felt different than the others, and some may like that aspect more than I did. Thank you for coming to my Tedtalk.

Simultaneously a silly goofy fun time and a vague two-hour lore dump. Would recommend to any FNaF fan. The easter eggs will bring you such joy

Absolute garbage 11/10 would recommend

Not a bad movie, I just couldn't vibe with it. Also, the tree scene was horribly unnecessary. It could have been not in the movie at all and it would barely skip a beat. Even Sam Rami admitted regretting that scene later on. At least the core is good.

I personally was not a big fan of this movie, but I will not say that people shouldn't watch it. I can see that a lot of people really liked this movie, and it has many good elements to it. I feel like what separates Sadako vs Kayako from movies like Rings is that with Sadako vs Kayako, you can really see that the people who made it were passionate about what they were doing and put their heart and soul into it. Rings, which I otherwise felt very "eh, not a fan" about, has no passion or soul. It was probably made exclusively to try and make money. But Sadako vs Kayako cared about doing its best to be great. Even if I wasn't a big fan, I know that lots of people are, and it's not hard to see why. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
