I would have probably felt medium about this movie (some good performances but nothing particularly memorable) were it not for one of the most uncomfortable "sex scenes" I've ever seen. The boy playing Stevie, Sunny Suljic, was 11 when this movie was filmed and they show him making out with Alexa Demie, an actress who was 22 at the time of filming (at least according to one site I found). Their characters are supposed to be 13 and 17-ish respectively, which is still pretty creepy, but if they had just showed them going into a room and closing the door (implying what happened rather than showing it), it still would have been weird but significantly less disturbing than having an actual little boy kiss a nearly naked woman on screen. No film is worth putting a kid in that kind of situation and Jonah Hill should feel ashamed
