After watching this film at home with my mom, it was very moving and and interesting watch. My mum was never into romantic films but loved this film highly. After watching I felt very emotional as it tugged on the heart strings and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire film. As a watcher, I felt very moved by the film and the LGBT+ movement in society today. I felt like this was expressed highly as Simon was gay in this film. I also feel like this can impact watchers by making them think more highly about LGBT+ people in society today. If you are thinking about watching it, I’d highly recommend as it’s really good and suitable for anyone who understands the LGBT+ movement and being gay in society.
