Totally insane movie. One of the best I've seen in the last few years. 6.3 IMBD is an absolutely ridiculous rating.

Barely even a movie. The entire movie could be compressed into a 30-second gif containing five images, as there is literally nothing in the movie other than these same five images being regurgitated for an hour and a half. No meaningful dialogue, zero visual changes, no story, not even sound effects, literally nothing. I can't believe I wasted an hour and a half of my life on this.

Such an underrated movie. This is a very cleverly put-together psychological thriller that will always have you guessing what is actually going on and never getting it right. You will have a thousand versions of what's happening, and not a single one of them will turn out to be correct. I can't call it a plot-twist, as the entire plot is one giant twist - you learn something new and unexpected every 10 minutes of the film. 4.5/5 for me. The missing 0.5 comes from the seemingly unrealistic situation, which does turn out to make sense upon further inspection, but it's not clear at first. Anyway, this is a must-watch.

The scariest movie I've ever watched (and I've watched pretty much every horror movie out there), to the point it literally gave me a trauma for like a year. Like I physically couldn't sleep alone for an entire year after having watched this movie. I know part of this is that I was 12 when I watched it, but it's still hella scary. Even comical at times, but that makes it all the scarier.

All these reviews are nonsense. A great movie with an interesting storyline, it does an especially good job at preserving the iconic mysterious and adventurous vibe and the not-so-witty (but dead funny) humour we've all fallen in love with the Pirates of the Caribbean for, to the point you kinda start having a very profound sense of nostalgia for those first few movies. The characters are all also relatable and fit very well within the franchise, and the ending was well thought-out, potentially leading up to a next sequel (?). Either way, even if this was the last movie, you sure will leave the theatre unable to wait for the next movie to come out. Overall, don't trust the reviews and just give this one a go - you won't be disappointed.
