Growing up watching Hong Kong based martial art films and television, Into the Badlands is the American take of all the badass fighting shot in dynamic angles with satisfactory grit and blood without having to read subtitles for the story. It's nostalgic and I'm super proud to see this style of fighting on a mainstream American television network. Only those that don't understand or can appreciate the workmanship of the stunts and choreography can be so harsh with their words. It's just plain ignorance being expressed. Into the Badlands is a one of a kind show that has not being able to live out its potential as a show. I highly recommend this if you like Kill Bill, Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, Mortal Kombat etc.
