I went to go see the movie and I think the CGI effects are realistically beautiful, but that's what destroys the purpose of the story. Another problem I have for it is that Scar looks and feels like a discount Thanos with his personality, appearance and story arc. So if there was ever a likability scale between 1 and 10, this movie would be a 6. Also, to call this and the original a ripoff of Kimba the White Lion would be an understatement because as it turns out, that anime is derivative of the French storybook series "Babar the Elephant".
