I saw this movie years ago...It is still fresh and relevant although it is the cleaned up version of one of Warhol's underground factory films with Joe Delasandra as a grittier drifter in the flesh pots of New York...A look at the underbelly of society where misfits cling together and try to survive in life's cruelty.....

I was hooked from the get go and relieved when it ended....An exhausting pleasure with a cracking cast...Lots of twists and turns from a totally dysfunctional family with no redeeming features or moral compass..Every commandment in the book broken with gusto and flair...A winner....

I could not finish this load of old cobblers....

I was there from the get go...I loved it..A sea of pomp and crushed velvet..Mean girls spite and venom served in a machiavellian setting...A lush feast for the eyes..The Crying Game on steroids....

A vapid little movie that falls short of it's hype...A story about those who are left behind in a culture that worships youth and beauty...The acting was adequate and the story line thin....The women seemed one dimensional and predictable...All in all...disappointing.....

I loved the colour drenched visuals...Good acting but I am left bewildered....

From the get go this movie grabbed me....It was so well acted and written that after it finished I was exhausted...A winner....

This powerful story of the generational misogyny and violence towards women by the masterly Ali Abassi had me reeling....The acting was faultless..The politics of religion was covered with precise detail..A film to stay with you.....

I loved this movie...From John Mortimer's tight script to the star studded cast and fabulous scenery..The age old story ..The love of money moves this whacky romance/thriller along at a cracking pace ..Lawrence Harvey is the con man and pulls out all the stops..A Joy to see John Meillon as the Aussie sheep farmer who Lawrence Harvey tries to emulate...but fortunately gives up mangling the accent half way through...Lee Remick is luminous and the handsome Alan Bates completes the triumvirate...A romp.......
