Jacob Montgomery

Show so far is lame. Poor acting and unremarkable writing has left me uninspired. I had tremendous hopes for it because the first episode is good... quite good. Then in traditional HBO fashion they blast through the plot to try and make it fast and exciting (but fail) so you never really take any stock in the characters. The young lady who plays Lyra just isn't good. A result of poor casting. In fact I can't think of one character that is compelling. I guess the polar bear would get my vote for best character if I had to choose. It's rushed and predictable. Blah blah blah.
