This is an underrated gem. Best c-drama with not a single boring moment. Its very heartwarming & nostalgic of youth. Also has one of the best love stories I have seen in c-dramas. The leads had excellent chemistry and back ground score is good too. This show deserves more recognition. Its beautiful all through 24 episodes.

Best kdrama after Reply1988. In fact this show just took over the top spot for me when it comes to kdramas. Since it has Gwangju Uprising in May, 1980 as backdrop, ending is inevitable tragic. I would still encourage all kdrama watchers to give this show a chance despite its tragic ending as it deserves to be seen. Yes it is a beautiful poetic love story from start to end (chemistry between leads is AMAZING ). But the show is much more than that. Everything about the show is top class. This show’s music is AMAZING ( this is coming from non korean who is into kdramas but not really into kdrama OSTs). The message the team tried to give is very sincere, profound and poignant. I hope the survivors of the Gwangju massacre from that May in 1980 find strength and comfort to swim through life like HeeTae did. One last time this show is a MUST WATCH!
