It has been awhile since there is any drama or movie that have me attached to it emotionally. And for some reason, At a Distance Spring is Green manage to do just that. I have been following consistently the drama from episode 1 until the latest episode 8, and I am very looking forward to what is in store for the audience in the next last 4 episodes.
There are many aspects of the drama that can captivate people - some likes for its romance story, others might like it because of its campus-life story or friendship story or bromance story; but for me, the drama speaks to me because there are stories dealing with trauma and loneliness, especially when it comes to character Nam Soo Hyun who at the beginning has all these walls and emotional barrier around him that prevent people to enter his heart and life.
The way these stories are told is not too heavy, so it suits my taste.
p/s: I have read the season 1 of the webtoon. And I would say that the drama is loosely adapted from season 1 only. It does not touch the storyline in season 2 and onwards.
