I genuinely enjoyed watching this film. It features an interesting western/apocalyptic atmosphere. It reminded me of the movie Sucker Punch, in terms of the fighting involved and the settings that surround them. I do think there are some elements of the film I wanted more from - for example, I would have loved to learn more about the main characters and their backstories. As I felt it would have added a little more character depth. But it is worth a watch! 🤍

I was in love with NC & Mary as a kid! Forever wanting to live within this story in Mary's place! A beautiful story and well worth a watch ❤️

When I was a little girl, I used to see a trailer to this movie all the time on one of my DVD's. I finally had the opportunity to watch it this evening and I have cried with laughter. The adult jokes hidden in the movie, the childish slapstick jokes, Jeb and Lucky!... were just so funny! It is just a little feel-good movie with a star-studded cast. Totally recommend ❤️

I watched this movie for the first time and simply fell in love. The story, the characters, especially the BROWNIES! I thought the Brownies were hilarious 😂❤️ Due to the time period it was filmed in, some of the special effects can look rather dated. But the movie has an essence of magic and heart and is just so much fun to watch! ❤️ I couldn't recommend it enough!

Found this film on Netflix and whilst it took a couple minutes for me to be entranced - it was well worth it! The style of the movie reminds me of Pan's Labyrinth in how they introduce some of the more... interesting characters (don't want to give too much away). Funny, emotional, just a fantastic movie! ❤️ I'm not familiar with the lore for this movie - but it is something I'll be looking into further.

I liked the film! It's a good slasher and there were a couple of moments I let out a laugh or two. Admittedly, I'd have loved for it to mention a little more background into the teacher and how his fascination developed and maybe an extended ending scene... But I recommend giving it a go!

Re-imagine your childhood characters through this violent, gritty rendition of the Jungle Book. I absolutely loved it! The animation could perhaps have used some refining, in terms of the animals features, but it slowly becomes less noticeable once you get into the film. The actor playing Mowgli did an incredible job! I additionally adored Andy Serkis's take on Baloo, no longer the singing, dancing bear without a care - the strict, military like teacher of the pack quickly became my favourite character. The only thing missing from this movie was King Louis, but to be fair - we get a nutty hyena and a less villainous take on Kaa instead.
