I’m a huge sonic fan, so I think that’s it’s the best film ever created. It’s funny, it’s got some amazing action sequences and the story isn’t as bad as people say it is. I know we don’t get to see a lot of sonics world but that could be shown in another film. I think the film deserves more credit than it gets. Video game movies don’t normally do that well, but this one isn’t like the others. Sonics design and personality really reflect on the sonic from the video games. Hopefully, in the next film he will be a little more serious and dr robotnik will become an even more serious villain than he already is. Speaking of robotnik, Jim Carrey suits the part of this character. He plays the crazy doctor so well. I love it that he’s already insane and yet, at the end of the movie he gets driven even further. The sonic movie is family friendly movie and I think that everyone should experiment it, sonic fan or not.

I think it’s a brilliant game, yeah the challenges are a bit too difficult and the story mode has quiet a lot of dialogue. But, the events are amazing and I like the selection of characters. It’s a very fun game to play, and it’s even better when you get a gold medal on an event in very hard difficulty. I do wish that the guest characters were playable in every event because at the moment there are 12 characters and each of them can only be played in 1 event, for example zavok can only be played in boxing. But, the game is good and fun. I think it’s definitely underrated. The 2D events are pretty good, some of them are a bit difficult like kayaking since you have to repeatedly rotate the control stick clockwise and it does hurt your thumb a bit. I do wish there were easier ways of doing some events. The graphics are really good in this game and it’s definitely the best one in the series so far. I do wish there were more dream events since there’re only 3. It’s very good if you’re playing on the pro controller but if you’re playing using the joy cons then you will find the game a bit more difficult. Going back to the events, I know they brought in some new ones but I think they should’ve brought back a lot of the old ones since this also would’ve added in more dream events. If you’re playing the events using the button controls then you will find that there’s a lot of button mashing especially on javelin throw. With the characters, I didn’t really care about it at first but, I do wish they had added stats onto each character - like the London 2012 olympics games. In this game every character is put into 1 of 4 categories - speed, all rounder, strength and (I guess) technical ( i don’t really know what to call it - the one will characters like tails and dr eggman). The reason stats would be better is because some speedy characters are slower than others and it’s just a bit annoying if it says their fast but there’s another character who is faster than it. But overall, it’s a very good game and I highly recommend it.
