Kelly Biedenweg

First of all, this is a novel. It is a fabulous story that I read in a single weekend. Secondly, I'm not Mexican, but I'm married to one who did cross the border undocumented and who has several family members who did as well. I also lived in Honduras for five years while friends were considering making the trek. Every person's story is unique. There is no one story to represent in a novel like this. there is room for many stories, both real and imagined, fictional, fantastical, and documented to engage different readers.
