At almost the same time Bruce Brown was shooting On Any Sunday (1971), a group of friends in Denver, CO decided they had had enough of their day jobs and headed for South America on their British dirt bikes. They quickly realized their mistake and traded them in for new Yamaha DT-1 2-stroke on/off-road bikes, and eventually made it all the way to Panama. If you like Long Way Round/Down you will be amazed at how adventure touring was done without GPS, sat phones, camera crews, or support trucks. Obviously the film quality if not modern HD GoPro, but the quality of the adventure is 10x what most YouTube MotoVblogger channels offer.
