Acting is amazing, everything else severly lacks. Hard to even finish bc its slow, uninteresting and honestly you just wanna beat the main characted. Institutional neglect is a problem but the way its portrayed in this movie is just ridiculous. If you're considering watching this, don't. Find something better worth your time

The description sounded great, listed as horror but honestly how does this have any ratings over 3 stars? It's not horror. There's nothing scary, no jump scares, zero suspense. It's basically a boring, drawn out and lazy mockumentary. Don't waste your time like I did

How dare yall disrespect our childhoods and take out EVERY IMPORTANT PART AND CHARACTER OF THE MOVIE. Criminal. Every Disney show is becoming the biggest and disrespect insult

Good but not overly thrilling. Pretty basic plot line of cops not doing their job, accusing the husband and being super lazy about the entire situation. Then husband does all the legwork ASAP to get his wife back and doing all the work the police should do in. Overall not bad but nothing super memorable or thrilling with a solid ending. Good recommendation for someone who likes Gerard Butler

Saw this in theaters w my family and had a really good start, kinda slow but good. Then thru out the movie it lost momentum. The actors were AMAZING but the events and twists progressively went from jump scarish, to okay? Weird... to straight up hilarious in how bad they were. And while I admit psychological isn't my thing even my family members who are into it confirmed it didn't make sense to them later on either And the ending? Absolutely ruined the movie. From scary to Absolutely laughable and ridiculous. I'll stick to rewatch the original Smile bc it's so much better than this sequel. 5/5 for acting 2/5 for everything else

The first 2 episodes really pull you in but they overall put too much attention on the internet sluthes. It turns into a docu-series to simply a series of conspiracy theories w no facts behind them. There's so much stretching and extreme ideas being thrown out in episode 3-4 that it no longer seems to focus on Eliza Lam and instead on the ideas of obsessed wanna-be detectives tryna force pieces together that aren't much more than coincidences being forced together.

I do not recommend this show unless you love being frustrated. The judges over time become complete a**holes, they definitely shoe some racism and sexism thru out the show. They purposely let artists start drama, critique them while sleep deprived, stressed, and frustrated. The let horrible artists stay far too long and kick great artists who are wonderful for no real reason. Honestly Dave is the only great judge. He defends the artists when they go too hard on artists and tattoos, he is kinder, and imo is the only one who is non biased.

The series took a serious hit downwards after the 3rd movie. Underworld: Awakening should have been a much longer movie bc it skipped over tons of important context, was too rushed and scattered. Underworld: Bloodwars is just as bad, not long enough, too little context, rushed, ect. They just took a poor direction removing Michael and forcing too much into too little time. Honestly made the last 2 movies of the series uninteresting and almost not worth watching had I not already been invested. Overall sad w how the movies ended up being. The direction of the first 3 was perfect and these just lacked so much of what was loved in the previous movies.

The lead comes from a bad situation, trying to escape then gets lured into what she thinks is a safehaven for her and her baby but is completely deceived. After realizing the place is not what it claims itself to be she tries finding help and ways of escaping while being degraded and dealing with constant gas lighting seem mentally unfit. Despite constant fails to escape and horrible punishments she stays determined to get out of the Covent before her baby is born. This is not a movie I would normally watch nor thing I'd like but surprisingly enjoyed. It will definitely keep you on edge and can be disturbing at times, making some scenes hard to watch but its definitely worth watching. The ending is so satisfying and perfectly fitting. Overall this movie is amazing to watch because it has a great cast, great acting, and a well thought out plot. The only reason I can see this movie is getting hate is because its a somewhat complicated and psychological movie that involves extreme religious features. Its a movie you really need to focus on and try go understand, which helps if you keep in mind that they're insane Christian extremists who are in love with money with a huge sense of superiority. As for complaints that it doesn't fit the 50's style I 100% have to disagree. Religion had a massive influence back then and the idea of what happens in the movie being realistic is very believable as christianity has a controversial, disturbing history. Other than that everything else seems fitting to the 1950's setting.
