Honestly I thought it was awful from the horrible acting to it starting off with almost same exact story line as Kevin Bacons movie Death Sentence that came out in 2007. Which instead of daughter he has a son who is murdered by a gang as a initiation.

This was a good movie and at the same time lacked in a lot of ways to the movies before it. Yes there is good old John Rambo revenge and his skillful ways of doing so (traps,explosions,stealth,archery and just savagery). For me just didn’t feel the way the other Rambo movies did though he goes and finds his niece in Mexico after warming her not to. It just felt like a lot of things were thrown together that didn’t need to be. Spoilers....... there is a few parts in movie that just seem off examples. When Gabriella meets her friend in Mexico and everything leads to her being captured by result of said friend. Why the hell does she not get something done to her by Rambo? Also when Rambo rescues his niece why does he not take her to get medical help from same woman that helps him when he gets attacked? Stuff like this in movie is why it was good not great for me. A seasoned badass like character John Rambo would have taken greater precautions I’d like to think
