This movie is incredibly beautiful and makes me want to view Van Gogh's work whenever I can. Thank you to the directors and everyone involved.

If you love Mark Twain, this is a wonderful movie. Be sure to watch the commentary by Will Vinton and you will be WOWED at how they made this only totally claymation film. The Collector's Edition is a gem.

Interesting movie if you ignore the obvious bias and some very blatant errors ( Einstien didn't even come to the US until 1932-- a bit of anti-Semitism in the joke at the beginning of the film?). This is obviously a creationist -based movie presenting connections supposed between Darwin himself and eugenics.. it was his theories that was the basis for it.. he would most likely have been horrified by the actual process of it. He thought that the highest purpose of man's intelligence was to have compassion and love Was also disappointed in the trial scenes, as well..Yes, Darrow was ruthless , but Bryan was a blundering fool at the end, not the dignified attorney they presented. And to emphasize a pig's tooth to represent all of the scientific knowledge about evolution up to that point is ridiculous. This movie, ironically will further continue the ignorance of those who are afraid to look at Genesis in the Bible as a metaphor of the wondrous beginning of the world. We were meant to use the wisdom that we have evolved into.. not rely on medieval thoughts.. much needed in today's society. I bought this movie, but it has gone into the recycle bin, as I won't be a part of promoting such bias.

This series is one of the best nature shows I've seen. The beauty, the interconnectedness and the information is stunning. It is a spiritual experience if you look at the Great Mystery in charge of this Universe. I also felt sad that I may be one of the last generations to enjoy this magnificent planet before maybe we humans have to leave it so it can heal itself?
