Very disappointing & not a patch on original - ignored most historical facts & found both female leads inadequate & lacking in any gravitas. If you didn't know the pertinent points when you went in, you certainly wouldn't be any the wiser when you came out. Wasn't impressed with the ' arty farty ' touches - reveal of red dress at beheading - did they really have velcro in those days & the 2 queens meeting place ( ok they admit they never met ) of some sort of woodcutters cottage swathed inside with voile panels which they waded through - oh please !! Lots of historical fact ignored completely - I could go on & on but suffice it to say I wasn't just disappointed - I thought it was woeful !!

Enjoyable for first three, maybe four, series but then got too ridiculous - although, to be fair, I am still watching. I do think they should stop while they appear to be winning - always leave your audience wanting more !!
