I’m writing this review as a 20-year-old woman. I saw this movie when it first came out in theaters with my family bc my Mom is a lifelong James Bond fan. Obviously I get that it’s important to have representation, but some things shouldn’t change/don’t need to change to fit the PC modern narrative. James Bond is about womanizing, weaponry, fancy cars, one-liners, and most importantly ensuring that the character STAYS ALIVE. This movie succumbed to the politically correctness that plagues many other tv shows nowadays and it might just be the downfall of the franchise. James Bond has built a legacy over the past 50 years. I’m totally fine with having poc actors play roles in the movie, but it was clear why they made the decision to replace James Bond with a black woman. It’s the same reason why they made Q gay in the movie too. It’s totally fine if a character is gay, but in a James Bond movie is something like that even worth mentioning? I feel like it isn’t. As if killing off James Bond wasn’t enough, the plot of this movie was clearly influenced by the Covid pandemic at the time, which made the film feel lackluster/boring. People go watch movies to escape from the reality of everyday life, not be reminded of it constantly. I really hope they manage to save this series, but I’m afraid that the James Bond franchise is going to fall victim to polictal correctness and lose its values/what makes the series. I would’ve loved seeing Cillian Murphy play James Bond, but I agree that he is too old for the role. I do have to disagree with some other reviews on here and say that I did enjoy Billie Eilish’s “No Time to Die.” Obviously it’s no “Skyfall,” but I did enjoy her song for the movie. It’s too bad that the movie didn’t meet my expectations.

I swear if this show gets canceled because of you sensitive Taylor swift stans we’re going to have a problem. I didn’t even remember the line until y’all made a big deal out of it.
