Hands-down one of the best shows I've seen in a very long time. Everything from the bigger-picture concepts to the incredibly subtle things that are only relevant to people that have lived in that part of the country. The story, the characters, the setups with suspense and future pay-offs. The commentary that's done **right** regardless of where a person stands on the topic. Nothing is on-the-nose unless it's for a reason, with so much left to be read between the lines. I'm glad to see that this hasn't gone under-appreciated if "96% of people liked this" at the time of me reviewing it. I was wondering why anyone would rate this 1-start so I looked at those reviews, and... they're from people that need things explained in crayons or that will never be happy unless they are the single center of the universe. Can't wait for season 2.
