I alternated between laughing and being furious at the situations the "scientists" found themselves in. No one wanted to hear or believe the truth, and when the scientists became impassioned and exhibited their fears they were deemed crazies. It showed how our society has been taught to question news and often ignore scientific authorities. People hear the same information but the populace develop completely opposite view points and can't find common ground upon which to act.
