Although not a overtly religious person myself, this movie has a message that goes beyond religion. It is about forgiveness and letting go of the burden of "judging" others. I watch this movie once a year and it resets my thoughts about letting go. Octavia Spencer as "papa" was such a great choice. A must see movie.
