It's so easy to like and love someone who is perfect. Takes no efforts. But to admire someone's imperfections and care for that person without being judgemental is so rare. This is what I found very endearing in this third book of the Ramchandra series.
Raavan, the most enticing and terrifying villain of Indian mythology. Also the most knowledgeable, talented, sharp witted and endowed with talents unsurpassed. Can anybody hope better from him? Someone did and he becomes passionately indebted to that soul for a lifetime. He loves unconditionally, lives life king size, kills ruthlessly and mourns only before his beloved brother. Born to be a hero, but made a villain by the so called righteous and the spiritual lot, he is star crossed.
Without giving much away, I would say that some demons are worth the worship too. If only stories could be rewritten by a different point of view, maybe there would be people who worshipped them too.
