It is a great show,fast paced and interesting but I can't be the only one wondering about this supposedly highly intelligent woman's wardrobe choices. It just screams high class hooker. Why? Seems denigrating to women everywhere.

I found this storyline mediocre at best. I found it hard to accept the fact that total strangers would welcome Charlotte to their home with virtually no duties. It doesn't seem she is particularly helpful as a nanny. I likened Charlotte to Pollyanna with her nose in everyone's business. She seems quite immature with little to no sophistication as another poster mentioned.. I think Charlotte was miscast . An actress with less childlike features would have been better suitedfor this role. I,for one,had no desire to see Sydney and Charlotte together. The best part of this production is,indeed,Theo James.

I really liked everything about this show except for Marie's attitude. She takes 0 responsibility for her actions in this drama. She lies. Her story makes no sense to the officers. She changes her story. And lastly,she recants under pressure. Of course,this is where the real travesty lies. Are we to believe that this trauma erased every detail? When discussing her case with the lawyer in the last episode she states,I lost my job( she,uh,quit),she lost her housing ( she came home high) I just felt this character could have taken some minute amount of responsibility for her actions. Not even a smidge of introspection. So disappointing. Please don't confuse my perspective on this. I am not saying she played any part in the rape itself but she does bear some responsibility for what happens after.
