(1/5) - If you value your time, don't waste it watching this show. It's terrible. A total waste of money (for Netflix) and time (for you). The writing is contrived and pathetic. The casting even more so. Actors are a total misfit for the characters. It is an insult to our intelligence agents and ours. Lets look at the character of Sobhita Dhulipala: Can you picture a secret agent that looks like a ramp walking model trotting around in Taliban infested Baluchistan? Her cover will be blown just by those lips (no pun intended)! Agents are meant to look inconspicuous and should be lethal, when required, for their own survival and their mission, like Amruta Subhash in Sacred games. That's casting. As for the writing, to give you an example of how unauthentic and lazy it is: In episode 3 a burka clad Sobhita Dhulipala, pretending to be Emraan Hashmi's wife, walks up and starts talking with him in an urban accented English in a courtyard of their hotel. Incidentally, this hotel is supposedly deep in the heart of Quetta (a Taliban infested area) and she is on a "nundercover" mission, supposedly keeping a low-profile. Seriously? The character of Veer, who supposedly survived 6 years undercover as smuggler of heroin for the Taliban, is anything but. Everywhere he goes, he is looking for a fight like a Rambo. How he survived 6 years deep in Taliban territory, "undercover", with such bravado absolutely confounds me. In episode 3, as Veer is walking through the town of Quetta he notices a *wanted* poster of himself. He stops in his tracks after spotting it, and is transfixed, till he is caught by the local police. A fight ensues. Tell me, which veteran undercover agent will stand in the middle of an enemy town, staring at his own "WANTED" poster, till someone makes the connection? Seriously? Seriously? Actions need to be justified and motivated by the characters, not written just for the sake of providing some. At-least the name is a bit more authentic: Bloody indeed, with such "intelligent" writing and acting my brain is hemorrhaging. Save yourself the pain. Eject, eject eject!!!
