I lliked the original Mean Girls - watched & rewatched many times. So then I decided to see the new one. It was terrible! The whole cast was bad, the musical numbers were bad & even turning it into a musical in the 1st place was a bad idea. The plot & storyline is not cohesive because of all of those factors ( bad cast, bad musical numbers & the antiquated concept of a musical in this day & age is vomit inducing). About halfway through it I totally lost all interest & just turned ot off. It's rare that I don't finish a movie. Even if I don't like a movie, I usually watch the whole thing anyway just because I'm at least invested enough to want to complete what I started. But not this time! I simply just could not! So that's my review. - 2 thumbs down!
