Good premise but there are more than a few iffy cuts....suddenly warm blankets appear on a cold night and a fire is mwrruky blazing in a desert without a tree for hundreds of kilometres; someone apparently suffering altitude sickness and hallucinating magically reappears with the briefcase; climbing ropes are shot from obtuse angles to make the activity seem a free climb...etc Scenes are obviously staged several times to allow the participants to be helped for safety reasons and then reshot to appear more dangerous. Don't get me wrong the contestants are AMAZINGLY brave and should be looked after....but I would have preferred the realism of seeing the legitimate and necessary assistants during the process rather than trying to make the contestants look completely unaided. Great scenery though, beautifully shot.

Brilliant cinematography and awesome sets but it just didn't grip me. The acting seemed like....acting...for the most part.
