Dodged a Bullet

Awful movie! Script was terrible and failed to go anywhere...truly a time waster of a movie. Tara Reid was terrible as a foul-mouther mom in some obvious ill-fitting wig and the inattentive mother of some kid that liked to play with dinosaur models; stumbled in delivering her lines. Cloris Leachman as the grandmother made up to look old as the hills with lines of a nasty old woman. Boring, poorly edited. Music kept building tension but plot fell flat. 👎🏻👎🏻

Terrible movie. Don't waste your time. Embarrassed for Keanu Reeves for participating in this disaster.

Not my favorite Eastwood movie...but fair enough! Felt the story could have been developed a lot more and edited better.

A time passer. Some cute moments but pretty tinselly and formula written.

Shallow storyline. Best part of the film was the scenery.

Boring and painful…like going to the dentist for a root canal for entertainment.

This was such an excellent film!...I loved Denzel's performance...It was top notch as I felt every emotion he conveyed. Kelly Reilly was also awesome in her role...in fact, all the players did such a fantastic job! I went from tears..to laughter..to tears again. The brief nudity was no big deal and was just at the start of the story (if you don't count the butt shot of Captain Whitaker's rear peaking out from his patient gown (LOL)...I didn't find it offensive...butt then I'm an RN as well as an artist and this mild nudity did not bother me like other's who are screaming "THERE WERE NAKED PEOPLE!"...PuLease...calm down...it's the human form and if these things bother you THAT much that you rate an excellent movie like this with a one star *...maybe you should look at the ratings and stick to kiddie movies! I mean really...why the fuss!? It was a great storyline with a deep review of conscience. Sleepy me didn't even nod-off once in this compelling story of a pilot struggling with denial of his substance abuse and guilt..riveting!

EPIC FILM! Filmed/released in 1996, the movie holds up remarkably well because it's a well told story based on actual events that took place in Tsalvo, Kenya. NOT TO BE MISSED IF YOU LIKE ADVENTURE!

One of my FAVORITE romantic comedies, if not my actual favorite modern RC! This movie has some hilarious scenes that had me in stitches and watching it over and over and still getting a laugh! I wish I could forget and watch it again with fresh eyes not knowing the lines and scenes! A scream!
